If you need to back up your settings or export your settings for use in a different implementation of Microsoft Dynamics CRM, export your settings as part of exporting customizations of a solution. More information: Export a Solution
Navigate to email settings.
In the Navigation Pane, click Settings, click System, click Administration, and then click System Settings, and then click the Email tab.
Make changes to the following options:
Configure email processing
Select options to prevent the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online E-mail Router from processing email from unapproved email addresses.
Use tracking token
Select this check box to use tracking tokens and to configure how Microsoft Dynamics CRM displays them in the Subject line of the email messages. Use tracking tokens to more accurately determine if a new record is related to an existing, tracked record. When you change the email prefix, up to 256 characters are saved as history. Long prefixes or too many prefix changes may cause lost data in history.
Use smart matching
Select this check box to use smart matching to correlate email based on the similarity between email messages. For more information, see Use smart matching to correlate email.
Track emails sent between CRM users as two activities
Select this option to create two email activities between Microsoft Dynamics CRM users, one for the sender and one for the recipient.
Set Email form options
Select the options for email forms.
Use secure frames to restrict email message content
If this is set to Yes, you may see an error message that says “This content cannot be displayed in a frame.” when you are reading email. Although this can make sending sensitive content via email less secure, changing the setting to No typically eliminates this error.
Set file size limit for attachments
Increase or decrease the allowed size of files that can be attached to records.
To save your changes and close the dialog box, click OK.
